BSA/AML Compliance Analyst

About the Role

We're looking for a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst to help build and maintain the compliance infrastructure that underpins our investment platform. You'll work across KYC/AML operations, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting — making sure we stay ahead of obligations as we scale.

This role is part operational, part analytical. You'll be reviewing investor onboarding workflows, investigating flagged activity, filing SARs and CTRs, and working with our legal and product teams to strengthen controls. We move fast, so you'll need to balance thoroughness with pragmatism.

What You'll Do

• -Manage day-to-day BSA/AML compliance operations including KYC reviews, enhanced due diligence, and ongoing monitoring
• -Investigate alerts from transaction monitoring systems and escalate suspicious activity as needed
• -Prepare and file SARs, CTRs, and other regulatory reports with FinCEN
• -Maintain and improve our KYC/AML policies and procedures to reflect evolving regulations and business growth
• -Conduct risk assessments on new investors, entities, and fund structures
• -Collaborate with product and engineering to improve compliance tooling and investor onboarding workflows
• -Support internal and external audits by maintaining organized documentation and audit trails
• -Stay current on BSA/AML regulatory developments and assess their impact on our operations

What We're Looking For

• -2–5 years of experience in BSA/AML compliance, preferably at a fintech, broker-dealer, fund administrator, or financial institution
• -Working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and FinCEN reporting requirements
• -Experience with KYC/CDD/EDD processes and sanctions screening
• -Familiarity with transaction monitoring tools and case management systems
• -Strong attention to detail and the ability to document investigative findings clearly
• -Ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls on compliance matters
• -Clear communication skills — you'll need to explain compliance requirements to non-compliance stakeholders

Nice to Have

• -CAMS, CFCS, or similar AML certification
• -Experience with venture capital, SPVs, or fund structures
• -Background in fintech compliance or working with money services businesses
• -Experience building or improving compliance programs from the ground up
• -Familiarity with OFAC sanctions screening and PEP identification

Compensation

$110K–$145K base salary, plus equity and a performance bonus. Exact compensation will depend on experience and location.
